Neat article about doctors using computer games to practice for surgery.

I’ve attached a pdf in case of link rot.

Surgical simulators are already in use. At UIC, we’re about to test the impact of training neurosurgeons to perform virtual ventriculostomy using a new simulator that provides both visual and haptic feedback, and we have a VR shop in the computer science department that’s done a lot of work on virtual surgery.
