Looking for an easy solution? Looking for someone to tell you to spend 45 minutes per day playing certain games? Want to hear me tell you it’s ok to ignore your family and friends and play computer games?

Go away.

If you are willing to think about what works for you, then maybe there is something on this site that can help you.

I agree -

People need to learn to think for themselves and take responsibility for their own actions.  I think that’s why this is such a great resource.  Helps people learn what is appropriate and when, and how things can be used not just for entertainment.

Anything can be a learning experience.  Anything can also be abused.  Balancing things in your life so you can make the best of what you have to learn from is a great but difficult skill. . .

Thanks!

This is the key idea: think for yourself. If people just tell gamers “don’t play so much” then it will most likely fall on deaf ears (think: charlie brown wa wa wa wha wa wa wha).

But if gamers ask themselves what a balanced life is, and then look at their own lives, I think we can make the mix work.
